Wedding dresses either being embellished with multiple layered organza flowers or floral lines sketched by crystals or pearls, they will give us some poetic natural feelings.
But what about dresses made with true flowers? This may sounds impractical. But Zita Elze, a horticultural artist from UK, make it come true.
Zita Elze was born in Brazil and went to UK to study horticultural design and upholstery design.
Zita Elze stitched cream-colored, light pink and peak green flowers and leeves onto the satins and these were the upper parts of the wedding dresses. As for the skirts of those dresses, they were made to be trains of feather and organza.
Zita Elze said the flowers and leeves that she had chosen were very soft and they felt like furs. “I would like to make floral wedding dresses that can be worn on your body, rather than ones could only be displayed in the show window.”
Besides flower wedding dresses, Zita also made other accessories set with flowers, such as bridal handbags, bumbersoll and etc.

Apparently, someone on Etsy was offering to make handmade replicas of the Hello Kitty wedding dresses for brides who can’t get their hands on one all the way in Japan. It seems like she took her Etsy site down because we can’t find it anymore. Anyhow, we did some poking around the Internet and apparently, Sanrio has four more Hello Kitty wedding dress designs, though none of them are nearly as intricate as the pink one.
The white Hello Kitty wedding dress is probably the most simple of the bunch and the only one that resembles a traditional white wedding gown.
This wedding dress has a kind of bar wench look on the sleeves and neckline. The cotton fabric makes the dress look really informal and it’d look cute as a costume but not as a wedding dress.
This red velvet Hello Kitty wedding dress was rich in red and is well designed overall. It was probably designed for colder climes and not for the tropical heat of the Philippines.
The pale blue shade of this wedding dress may remind people a lot of Barbie for some reason!
